Prepare both accounts

Complete required KYC and security setup first. Upbit may request exchange and beneficiary details under applicable Travel Rule procedures, and Bybit deposit access depends on account and regional status.

Match the deposit details

On Bybit, select Deposit, the asset, and a supported blockchain network. Use exactly the same network in Upbit. A similarly named network is not necessarily compatible.

  • Check deposit status and minimums
  • Copy the entire address
  • Add the destination tag or memo if shown
  • Review withdrawal fees
  • Confirm recipient details

Test and document

When practical, send a small test transfer. Keep screenshots or records of the address, network, amount, timestamp, and transaction ID for reconciliation and taxes.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does an Upbit to Bybit transfer take?

Timing varies by blockchain congestion, platform processing, verification checks, and required confirmations. No fixed arrival time is guaranteed.

Why does Bybit require a memo for some deposits?

Some networks use a shared address and a memo or tag to identify your account. Omitting it can prevent automatic crediting.

Is Bybit available to every Upbit user?

No. Availability depends on your country, local regulations, identity verification status, and the exchange's current policies.
