Fiat deposit troubleshooting

Fiat Deposit Pending or Not Showing on an Exchange?

A bank debit and an exchange credit are separate events. Before opening an appeal, confirm the exchange order status, transfer details, sender name, reference information, processing window, and whether the money was returned.

Separate bank status from exchange status

Check both records. The bank may show pending, completed, rejected, reversed, or returned, while the exchange may show awaiting payment, processing, failed, completed, or no matching order.

Record the exchange order ID, transfer time, currency, amount, bank reference, beneficiary, sender name, and any required payment reference. Do not post an unredacted receipt publicly.

Check common matching problems

Fiat deposits may depend on exact payment instructions and account ownership. A wrong beneficiary, missing or incorrect reference, unsupported currency, transfer from another person's account, name mismatch, amount outside limits, or expired order can prevent automatic crediting.

  • Transfer came from an eligible account in your name
  • Beneficiary and bank details match the live instructions
  • Required reference or memo is exact
  • Currency and amount are supported
  • The payment was made before any order deadline
  • The published processing window has passed before escalating

Use the official appeal route

If the transfer completed at the bank and remains uncredited after the stated window, use the provider's authenticated fiat-deposit support or appeal process. Binance currently provides a Fiat Deposit Not Arrived Appeal that requests deposit details and evidence. Bybit's fiat-deposit FAQ directs users to review the order and supply requested transaction information for investigation.

Submit a clear payment receipt or bank statement only through the verified support flow. Hide unrelated transactions and unnecessary account details when the provider permits. Keep the case number.

Do not send a second transfer yet

A delayed payment can still be matched, returned, or require review. Sending another transfer may duplicate the problem and make reconciliation harder.

If the bank says the money was returned, wait for the return to settle and correct the original cause before trying again. If the exchange says the order failed despite payment, use its current appeal instructions rather than relying on social-media support.
